Just finished talking to Lawton. He & His Wife were in a Roll over wreck 4 weeks ago. Hit by Drunk Driver. They were in his truck. He said thank goodness they had seat belts on. Lawton has a broken neck & other injuries. He's in a neck brace. Recooping at home. Lawton's wife is recooping,with mutiple injuries, in a rehab center. She will be there several months. Don't remember seeing anything about this on here.

Ive been on the phone with Lawton alot in the last few weeks. Hes doing better but said he wont be hunting for a while. Lawton has contributed alot to the breed. Prayers Up.

Sorry to thear abuot this. Lawton is one fine fellow and true B & T breeder and hunter. Lawton is the person that got me involved in the ABTCHA back in the mid 90's. I was a memeber before and have hunted Black dogs since the mid 70's but he is the one that got me interested in the Association.

Great Friend is all I can say. I stayed many nights and ate Marsh's great suppers at there house a lot of times.
