Thinking of what I will cross Hope on in the next year or so. I will be making some hunting trips for sure....... I have to give the credit to a man in Iowa who trained the female. I was just able to buy her back. I had to tune her up, but I like her. I am considering Sounder, Oppy and B&D's Blue Crook. Also, strongly considering a dog by the name of 'Pete', in Iowa. No titles, but a COONDOG. Let me know what you think she will cross best on out of the listed dogs if ya want.

Pete is bred to reproduce he is out coondogs that are backed by coondogs. Cant go wrong with old OPPY either but you better hurry if thats the route you want to go he'll be13 in may. Theres a young dog thats a grandson of Oppy and out of a female loaded full of the old NORTH STAR dogs in Iowa named NITECH NORTH STAR BLUE OAKLEY owned by Trent & Rex Krough I'd take a look at also.

Thanks, bud! I dont have any of that blood here, so I am excited at the prospect of possibly getting some. I still want to hunt with Elmo's Sounder dog. Even if I do not breed to Sounder this go round, at some point, I will.

No problem talked to Trent today and told him you may be getting ahold of him. I'm curious about the Pete dog you are looking at would like to arrange to see the dog go sometime if possible. Have hunted with a bunch of the dogs in his ped and have a kennel full out of the same line.
