First sign of blood or swelling, take her to Dean Bitzel and have him Progesterone test her. He can check her every couples of days until her levels are just right and then inseminate her.

Your question was kind of vague, not sure what other kind of information you are looking for.

Lots of Questions on your old bitch !!

Is she good and healthy ??

Is she or has she been having regular 6 month cycles that last 18 to 24 days ??

Is she a Quality Breeding Bitch ??

I drove my 10 year old bitch all the way from South Dakota to nevergone in Indiana and did all of the in house progesterone testing and what not and breed her with fresh chilled semen and only got two puppies. The litter before this one, she had nine pups and the litter after this one she had seven. So not sure what happened there but I dont think I would try it again with a bitch that old. On the other hand, a buddy of mine bred a six year old bitch to Harry semen and had eight good healthy pups, so who knows.

I think when breeding a ten year old dog, getting any live pups would be considered a success. JMO.
