Could I get some kennel ideas from pictures?

Guys & Gals I know this topic has been over asked on here but im gonna ask it again. Im getting close to spring weather and will be constructing a new kennel, Pouring a concrete slab 24x12 and making 3 pens out of it, will be making a trough to spray kennels down and empty into a field tile. Can I get pics of What you hunters have done for more ideas!! thanks

First thing!

Get enough slope on the slab. From front to back at 12 feet, I would do 10" fall. I have 12" on 16 foot. Works out great and mine is smooth trialed, not broomed and it hoses off real nice. I also took an 10 Dia. under ground water
line pipe and cut them in half long ways and fastened it to the concrete for a gutter. Also fastened a treated 2 x 6 to both sides of the slab so all water is kept within the gutter area when cleaned. I'll post a pic for ya on Friday. I have 3 10 x 10 set up on mine. As far as draing it all into a field tike, not a good Idea unless you screen the front on the tile. I have a 10" running from gutter to a drainage ditch and it can get clogged up with straw and shaving at times. Have to clean it out and it's only 7 foot long to the ditch. Good luck with it!! Face it East!!

nick we just got done with a buddy of mines floor for his what we did is poured a stem wall 4"x 8" around first (three sides) the front was left open. we used a 2x6 across the front and went with that hieght up front and slopped to the back to four inches with a drain in the back whick we took a 4inch pipe and cut it and screwed it to the back to form our drain when pouring the slab. remember to make sure you set your grade pins with some rebar. this pin was 18 ft x 60 ft

Pics of kennel

Here's a few pics of my setup! I put a tarp on back to keep the cold winter air off them. Also have electric heaters in stainless steel 4 gal. buckets. Never did like dealing with frozen water thru the winter months. Also shown is a pic of my big pup pens for when the pups get older to romp around and have fun!

mr. glista great looking kennel setup, how big is that puppy pen? did you buring the fence at all incase of them digging? and is it just like a sheep fence 4x4 squares?

mr. wyland like that brick idea also, pry a lot cheaper than concrete doing it that way?

pup pen

Is 2" x 4" no climb horse fence, 6 feet tall. I got a trencher and trenched down 1 foot then used gas powered post hole digger to put in post. Buried wire one foot deep. Been up for 14 years and still real nice. The two plastic barrels have openings in the so pups can get food to eat out of self feeders. I have electric run out there also. This is used for bucket heaters in the winter time. Has worked out great for me and the pups hit the pen around 6 weeks old. Sure beats the heck out of a small kennel!! Pup pen is 150' deep buy 200' wide is all!
