Woman Gets Bill In The Mail For Using Restaurant Restroom

A woman who ran into a restaurant because she needed to use the bathroom asked the woman at the counter if it was ok. She got permission, used the restroom and a few days later got a bill in the mail.
According to today.com, the bill was for $5 and was sent because she was not a patron of the restaurant and the restrooms are only for customers of the restaurant. There is a sign in the bathroom that does let people know of the policy.
We’ve all been in that spot, right? You’re not trying to create a scene and you’re not trying to take advantage. You just have to go to the bathroom.
This all happened in Tennessee, but I guess it could happen anywhere. So what if it happened to you here at the Jersey Shore? How would you react? Would you understand what they are doing or would you be shocked?
