If you dont pay the extra $ for rush fees then UKC says to expect 4- 6 weeks for delivery.
Even if it is there lag in time, you did not have to take your dog to any hunts to have to pay the additional fees associated with the entry. You could wait until you get the papers back to enter and save the extra $5.
And, if you do pay it, remember all the conditional fees go into the youth programs for UKC. So it's not like it's just going to waste.
If you dont want to pay the extra $5, then dont enter. And if you do, dont expect to be reimbursed for it. It is your choice to enter.
We have paid close to $30 in conditional entries on our dogs while papers were in transit back and forth. But it was our choice to enter the dog while the papers were being processed or accidentally left at home. I will gladly pay the extra fee especially when I know it's going to the youth programs.
