My son has been saving our coon hides this year and is wanting to sell them. We never had sold them before and I told him that I would find out where he can take and sell them. Does anybody know where he can take them??? Thanks. Junior Watson 865-654-6600

A fellow told me the other day that one of the Indian markets on the mountain going into Cherokee is buying fur, said he sold him some rat hides 7 bucks each.

The TFHA will hold 2 fur sales this coming season:


The Fur Sales have been moved around a little to help bring in more buyers and have more fur available by having them later in the year. This also gives the trapper time to get their fur ready after the season ends.


Bulls Gap TN on March 2nd at the VFW building.


Crossville Tn on March 16th at the Cumberland County Complex
