Exceptional NC Bluetick Stud Dog!

Call JIM DAVIS 336 466 1305 FEE will be $200. Come and hunt! Will give references. This is the most DETERMINED dog to find and tree I have ever seen! Turn him loose and you will almost always have to go get him off a TREE! May be interested in pup from Good Female Thanks! Jim Davis EAST BEND NC Is it the breeding? Looks? Mouth? Well...Let me describe some things I desire in A Stud Dog. I like him to be @ 65 to 70 lbs.. To have nice straight legs and cat feet and a real nice head and muzzle. To have a good clear mouth and to use it on TRACK and TREE! To be a consistent HUNTER and get in the dark searching for a COON!To be able to take tracks as they come cold or hot and MOVE them. Good locate on tree and settle in and STAY! And let other dogs tree WITH him. I HAVE such a dog! His NAME is FROSTY BLUE! I have mostly been a B/TAN man. But this BLUE DOG has WON me over. I have been told numerous times that he was the PRETTIEST coon hound they had ever seen! He has hunted with some powerful dogs! He hunts just as good,if not better,by himself.I know coon DOGS. I campaigned CH NT CH Davis GENERAL JACKSON in the 80s and won every UKC cast for @2 Yrs. This dog is of that SAME caliber! His Sire is BrianLucas'Grnitech GRCH. FROSTY BLUE BO BO dam is NTch Frosty Blue ANN.Would love to breed this Hound to @ 10 -20 GOOD females. You will NOT be dissapointed!

FROSTY BLUE THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

About the pictures..I do have some but Ill have to get one of my sons to help post. As soon as I can get one of them down . I ran out of room on the original post so I'll say this now.Was down at Walker days at Salisbury NC this past Friday. I was leading him in to show to James ATwell's Daughter,She has a young female out of FROSTY BLUE that is doing excellent! She wanted to see what 'DAD' looked like.@ 10 to 15 hunters gathered and was asking about him. Some went so far as to say he was "The best looking Bluetick they had ever seen" He is the real deal. James Atwell hunts some of the TOP Walker Dogs in the country. He has personally seen this BLUE Dog in the timber more than once. This Walker Man won The GRAND AMERICAN FRI. AND SAT. nite a few years Back.He certainly knows what it TAKES TO WIN! He is a busy man with his NITE TIME KENNEL SUPPLY. If he will answer his phone, ask him his opinion of FROSTY. 304 922 2311 I am one of those SENIOR CITIZENS.This ad is not to make money off FROSTY.But I sincerely believe he will help to improve the BLUETICK BREED. Thanks Love them BLUE DOGS JIM D.

Frosty's Paper Name

Hello Kentucky ... His Reg. paper name is CH.PR COLDNOSES FROSTY BLUE SWER. The SWER comes from a tv program ..some detective named SWERINGEN! The lady I bought him from, AMY BRYANT From Pilot MTN. NC named him and they ran out of letters and had to STOP with SWER. He is a show CH. so his name cant be changed, but I have always called him FROSTY BLUE which IS on his paper. He is 7 Yrs. old which makes it all the more amazing that people would think he is such a good looking hound. One of the men said he thought he was @ 3 Yrs. old. I just talked to James ATwell from VA., he was coming down tonite to hunt. But he went last nite in the rain and SNOW on those mtns. and the female out of FROSTY that he is hunting got clean over top of MTN. and he left them out! Those mtns. are tough in GOOD weather much less rain and snow. This statement MAY be of interest! James said this evening that this 11 mo. old female out of FROSTY is the LOUDEST FEMALE that he has ever heard in his life! Some dogs in paper all GR NT; Smileys Blue Rambo 11 and 111 and Slifes Blue Rambo,Vining Running Bullet,Frosty's Fancy, Smiley's Misti Blue. Will post some MORE good attributes later. He IS the real thing! Thanks and Good Hunting! JIM D.

We had a female that would be a younger sister to your dog. She has a very loud mouth, good accurate tree dog and a good looker too. The BO BO X Ann cross was a proven cross that was made several times. Good luck with your hound.

Thanks 8hawg.. WE just got back from a hunt tonite. Turned loose 2 times and had 2 strikes 2 long tracks and 2 trees with one coon seen and one den. The garmin showed @ 1200 yds on 2nd tree! I have debated for @ 5 yrs whether to advertise FROSTY for stud. I had seen that he WAS one of the rare type of dogs that would give you 100% each and every nite when you cut him loose. I have never seen this dog even seem to get tired or fail to hunt! As far as I know he has never been in a nite hunt. I have had some trouble with sciatica and dont hunt competition any more. When I first ran Gen. Jackson for stud, neither had he been in a comp. hunt and was not a titled dog.But when the people came and hunted..they were impressed and they BRED to him.Later I did enter him for a while and he won almost all his casts. Made NT CH and SH Ch and a few wins toward Grand and I stopped hunting comp. Frosty may never be in a comp hunt but as I once said to a B/T breeder I will cut him loose with most anything but a mean tree dog. This Dog Will show traits that I believe any serious breeder will want in his Kennel. Until Later Jim D..

Frosty Blue Natural Broke

One other thing I would add to Frosty's description is the fact that I have owned him for 6 years and as far as I know he has NEVER run a deer or a fox! The NATURAL Brokes sure make it easier about Training! I fully realize that it will be hard for a real nice well bred hound that is not holding the big titles to be noticed in a SEA of Dual Grands. And so be it .I just wanted the hound world to see what a complete HOUND he is.I dont even have a blue female and the main thing I really want is a male pup out of FROSTY and a real nice blue female. The man that has that breeds free! Also he can HUNT with him AND can give Numerous REfs.. Thanks for reading and this time will let the ad pass on thru. So if you are considering... save this #,336 466 1305 ! Best of luck with "The worlds Greastest Sport" Jim Davis BTT

This is a great hound . I hunted with him quite a bit before Jim bought him. He was a natural . Started early and never looked back . I have a young female here now off of Swer working her on the bench for Larry Quesinberry. She is started in the woods and is gonna make a nice hound as well .

FROSTY BLUE THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

Hello Larry! Thanks for the good words. I wish my knees would stand a few nite hunts and I would be able to Show the caliber of this hound. As good as he was young, He improved every Year since! Maybe I can meet and talk with you sometime and good luck showing the female out of FROSTY! ONE thing about this female that wont show up on the bench....SHE is one of the loudest females on the tree I have ever heard! NOW, Atwell says HIS is THE loudest he has heard...BUT I havent heard his YET! WE had a nice hunt last nite, FROSTY and a Black/tan female pup.Dont take my word, to all that are even considering him. I was hunting with my longtime hunting buddy and good FRIEND Larry Quesinberry. He dont have a DIME in FROSTY and he has a real good WALKER male in his lot....ASK him about last nite and 3 coons up 3 trees in thin coon areas in not much over 1 hour! His # is 336 401 5205.He is free to say whatever he thinks, and I believe he will tell the truth whether it be good or bad! Time is slipping on by... Thanks for reading...Havent been on here lately and it has been a Pleasure! JIM D.

Jim, don't know if you remember me or not, but I came down with Larry Quesenberry one night, and went hunting. I brought my Nippet female (now deceased) and we had a great hunt. I really liked your blue dog. He looks like a male bluetick ought to look, and sounds just as good.
I'm sure, if given the chance, he will put the right kind on the ground.

Saw Larry the other day, and we were talking about getting together again.
Take care, and I wish you the very best with Frosty. Both of you are good representatives of our sport.

Craig Edwards A Friend in Mt. Airy

Hello Mr Craig Edwards! ! Yes I very much remember you and was impressed with your BLUE Female. I enjoyed that hunt a lot and would very much like to get together again for another chance to "Go run one". I wont keep you out to long because 2to3 hrs is usually good for me! None of that 2 am to 3 am now. Any time your busy schedule allows, give me a shout and would very much like to have your evaluation of FROSTY now because I know you know far more about these BLUE DOGS than I DO! We might even allow that Quesinberry GUY to go also if we can get him off the BASS LAKES. Looking foward to seeing you again! Thanks JIM D.
