should my pup be broke off playing?

I have a 7 month old plott pup that I bought a month ago that I hope becomes a good Coondog. I also have a bird-dog that's 4 and when I let them both out of the kennel the just play (wrestle) with each other. Is this bad practice on my part and should I break my pup off this? Or just let a puppy be a puppy and he'll grow out of it? I'm not going to start working with him until he matures, and I don't want him playing in the woods. Any suggestions? Thanks.

heck let them play the best female coondog i ever owned was a spoiled house dog that loved to play all the way up to her old age of her death but when i put those waders and lights on the bs stoped and she was ready to go tree some coons. just have patience and bond with that dog if you do your part he will his.
