Exclamation Cold temps on dog

I need ideas for a dog house for my hound. The one its in must not be warm enough. it ws barking for last 3 hrs had to bring in garage its not heated but about 30 degrees warmer than 2F outside right now. Dog is feed twice a day morning and night has water in heated water dish. Out of wind and has dry bedding. Any ideas please post pics. or plans so my dad can build one.

lots and lots of bedding. grassy hay or straw so full that the dog can barely fit in there

make a flap over the door way so he can go in and out but it will help hold the warm in and the cold out. move him into garage till winter is over
