Last night in central Michigan

Did any one else go hunting last night???

All I can say is holy cow!!!!!!!!!

What nasty weather! The lightening and thunder show was spectacular.

At 11:30 a wall of wind and horizontal sleet cut visiability to about 6 feet. The sleet felt like I was getting sand blasted. The road was covered with white ice in less than 2 minutes.

Just curious to to whether or not I was the only crazy one?

Our Kate bitch is in heat so me and my hunt'in buddy took one of our 8 month old pups to the river bottom. 41 degrees out, 20 mph wind. I thought the coon should move but the pup never could tree one. However she did log 4.1 miles on the Garmin, hunted that bottom to death, never got more than 500 yards from the truck and did all that while we sat on the tailgate. Ran a few tracks but nothing she could handle. Swam the Turkey Creek atleast 4 times. I don't know if she will ever amount to anything but that dog WILL hunt.

Frank and I made 5 trees and shot out 4. One was a den and coon was seen... The last tree was a triple. Got home around 3 and wind was ROCKING trees down and power outages. 19 degrees gotta love Michigan... 45 around 6 and blistering cold within an hour...

On the way out my English falls treed in front of me .

Next dump den.
On the way out, I bout tripped on a coon let my 10 mth old try to figure that one out! Try! No cigar.Sorry ole pup!

Seen two more cross in front of me in the vehicle,on my way home 9:30
On my way to work 11:30 pm still seen coons cross the rd.
They moved real good,last nite.
Yea the wind and that cold front sent them to movin real good, here.
Had a real tough ride up to Milwaukee with all that wind.

I ended up on private property twice last night. First drop the dog was running a coon across people's front yards. I just caught her up. Second drop, Rain treed a large boar. Third drop, was about as fast as a track as possible. It went 3/4 mile and ended up treed on a den in a guy's back yard. Forth drop, was when the weather hit.

I can say on thing. I sure like tone. Rain comes in pretty good if she isn't running a track.

Jeff,

I am not surprised you and Frank were out there.lol Hey, I have been meaning to call ya.
