As many of you know the location of the reunion has not been selected as of yet. As the new BBOA Vice Pres. it is my job to collect all bids and present them to the hunt committee. The committee will review all bids and make a decision that is in the best interest of BBOA. We will then present the location to BBCHA for approval.This issue needs to be resolved quickly it was voted that we announce the location Sep.16 2017 Therefore any club that is interested in Hosting the Reunion 2017 needs to submit a written bid by Sept 12 this can be hand written or by E-mail . There are guidelines that need to be met by the host club. We received 3 bids for the 2017 reunion they are as follows :Portland,In Sedalia,Mo Richmond,In
I would like to thank all the clubs for sending their bids the committee will look over all bids this week and make a decision.

Looks like the reunion will be in a great location with the 3 clubs wanting to hold it....good luck to whoever gets the pleasure of holding it....I hope to make it!

Who ever gets it is great all three locations have a great coon population that is half the reason I go to these hunt to tree a pile of coons but would like to see it in IN. for travel reasons LOL

The committee was formed it was voted to use 1 board member from each zone .

The committee got together via: Telephone and the Committee voted 2017 REUNION to be held in Sedalia Mo
Marshall Coon Hunters will host the event not official yet but april 20,21 ,22 are the dates Marshall club is working on. B.B.O.A. will contact BBCHA Hunt Committee for approval.

Robbie, thanks to you & all the committee members for taking care of this situation in a expediated manner. Personally, I'm glad to see it going there because it is great location for 'western' members & should have been there this spring, if it hadn't been messed up by the DNR. Take care, Ron.

Very good choice! Have hunted that area before and there seems to be plenty of coons and good hunting!

I just have one quick question. Last year the reunion did not take place in Sedalia due to the problem of Missouri DNR past a rule no permits to be issued for events with in 5 days of any gun season including spring turkey season was my understanding. Will this be the case again this year or did that problem get resolved? Not trying to stir anything up just looking ahead with a legitimate question. I have raced at the fairgrounds its a nice facility and hunted out of cole camp and marshall which are both near by and had great hunts. I hope it all gets worked out Mike Harward

All issues with DNC have been taken care of for the month of April during spring Turkey season. Still working on Fire arms deer season in November fo r UKC hunts in the future. Saline Co Coon Hunters assoc and Phil Vogel are running the show with help from State Fair Coon Hunters assoc The dates belong to saline County. We will do our best to put on a great event.

We had Great choices to consider, no pick would have been a poor choice, This will be a great location, I hunted there in big Coon contest just a year or so back and we hunted 60 dogs that night with no problem, all cast as I can remember came in with 2 to 4 coons,........Gerald
