Thought of the day
As most of us live in small community's there are some things that baffle me.
We know just about everybody, and gossip travels so fast that the most people know every detail of our everyday life, (ie what time we come home, what we bought at the grocery store, and what we have in our gardens.) But yet when we have a hound go missing right in our back yards it seems that nobody seen, heard it, or seen anybody stop by to get it.
I have probably talked to half dozens people that drive by my house 20 times a day, and can notice if I have parked my truck in a different spot in the yard or notice if I move a dog between houses, but then when it comes to one missing I get the same story from all of them.
"Naw I didn't see him. I didn't even see anybody stop by.
The odd thing is, whatever happens always seems to happen when there ain't nobody home. When both vehicle's leave.
It just kinda seems odd that everybody see's everything unless it is something that needs to be seen.
