Easy Verses Hard

In your area of Hunting what would separate and easy coon from a hard coon, I’m interested in your input, here, easy is turn out and pop up within, a couple of hundred yards .......in fairly open woods. Hard would be lots of water in thick cover or over dry ground in July, trailing for more than 1/4 mile with no Dew on the ground ... with thick canopys to tree in .

We got alot of red dirt , briars and blackjacks ... some of these patches are full of washout ravines one after another ... you gotta belly crawl through briars and it's just miserable ... but at the same time , you love it ... a coon that is feeling frisky and wants to make it tough on dogs can sure do it in that stuff .

If we go to the river and backwater ... them coon can swim from one shore to another ... ditch dogs in beaver holes , etc ..

But , we got decent creek bottoms ... cleaner patches of woods with plenty of acrorns and stuff like that too that are fun to hunt.
