Price on garmin's

I have been looking at new and used garmin 220's and the DC40
collars. I can get a new system for 479$ and a extra collar for
200$. Which comes out to about 680$ so how can poeple sell new ones for over 700$ or within a few dollars of a new one And they don't have any extras like map cards and so on. I'm I missing something? Why not buy new? Never had one but looking to buy, just don't want to
get ripped off.

Any help would be Great. THANKS

If I was you I would just buy the 320. Bruce Conkey is the cheapest I've found. He's on here. 320 2- dc40's less than $800 with map card

James atwell has best price, he'll be at grand American. He does the 320+40 and Garmin pouch and mapcard and hat for $550.

Garmin as set the price on Garmins for there dealers. The dealers way of giving you a better deal is to give you free stuff (map card, pouchs, and ect). Bruce Conkey is one of the best and is who I call 1st for anything now days.

I've got a 320 bundle & recently got a second collar but until then I just used my old marshall collar for a second dog for a backup in case they weren't together when I got to them . Usually they are. I carry the garmin & leave the other receiver in the truck .
Some places will buy / trade-in your old systems .

Garmin Alpha Collar broke two hour into the first hunt

Bought the new Garmin Alpha one collar that came it plus and extra one. Went huntin, was in the woods for about two hours, hit two trees and one of the collars just died. No warining, just died, no signal, no lights, just nothing. Really frustrated since I just spent $1100 on this system. Had a big hunt this week end but gus I wont get to use my new system. Has this happened to any one else?

Garmin has a lot of problems with collars quitting. I bought 5 and have sent back 4 and I've only hunted with them about a dozen times in 9 months. I know everyone says it's crazy but I am hopeful Marshall will be better.
