hunting locations ( opinion)

Where in your opinion is the good hunting area in the country with a good coon population. In my area in south central Ohio hunting spots getting very slim due to population . Woods u used be able to hunt now has a home built in it. State ground sometimes u have to take a number. Just wondered where it was better?

My only experience with state ground is in Mich. and I have never yet seen another human being or heard another dog when hunting up there.
