Im a young hunter with black and tans. I have a male and female that i usually raise a litter out of every year. There pretty good bloodlines from what i have studied. My female should be coming into heat within the next two weeks. if i bred here this heat that would make the pups 11 months old around kill season or i could wait til next heat which would make pups about 5 months old around kill season. I have heard preferences of both ways. Which would everyone prefer if u were buying, 11 months at kill season or five months at kill season?

now as a buyer would you wait til a month or few weeks before kill season to buy one or would you buy on e a few months before kill season rolled around?

11 months for hunting season means they would be 7 to 8 months for cornfields in the summer. Can't beat that with a stick.
