pin worms, whip worms, maybe? could be he's gonna just be smaller dog or he'll hit a growth spurt later.
it don't take a 75 pd dog to tree a coon though. good hunt'n.

May just going to be a small dog.I like to weigh my dogs.Especially for their wormings.I had a 3 1/2 month old once that weighed 11 lb.Ended up being 52 lb adult weight.

Are you feeding him a good puppy food and enough rations of it.Will surely stunt growth if not.

Tapeworms

I would use a good tapewormer, most states you can only get tape worm wormers direcrtly from the vet. Your other wormers will not kill tapes and tapeworms can definately stunt growth.

I don't think under feeding will stunt growth. Dogs are genetically programmed to reach a certain size and if they stay alive, they'll get there eventually. They can be delayed. I expect your hound will have a growing spurt starting about now.

You are correct .I used the word stunt but it really just slows their growth. They will eventually reach their genetically programed height/weight.The only thing that will really stunt growth is a disease or serious illness.

OT ...I had a kitten one time...it had got distemper. It recovered and was only 1/2 the size of an adult cat when it was done growing.I called her mighty mouse.

Born in the summer .Hot weather on a pup will slow their growth.Keep pup wormed and fed a good quality feed and pup should grow off like expected
