You can send it into Garmin.. You will have to call in and they will make a work order, they will also give you the correct address to send it and a RMA # that you need to hold on to, and finally you will have to give them a credit card number.. total to send it in with the shipping is around $100

Hey Bill
While I got you here and before I send my dc 30's to Garmin...I got three(3) collars of various ages....and suddenly all three won't hook up to the satalitte. They turn on and blink but won't hook up. If I identify them with the hand held, they blink rapidly.
I have updated the software, cleaned them good, one just had the battery changed as it wouldn't even turn on.
Any ideas or suggestions?
They all went bad within days of each other. I thought that was odd.

Check your wire on the GPS antenna ( If Their 30's)
I had a customer bring 2 by the other day that would not connect and that was the problem. If you have a working collar that you can swap the gps antenna around and do a test, that would be great.
If that ends up being the problem I may can help instead of sending them back in.

Yup from the main box up to the gps antenna.. The ones that I have seen bad got pinched between the collar and the box, most the time it was on a aftermarket collar. The aftermarket collar doesn't protect the wire like a stock collar does and is most the time the culprit.. Check for a dent in the wire or a spot that looks like a wear points.. Also check the connection, the little brass fingers that secure the connection, If some are missing that may also be a problem. The antenna can work with 1 missing but several .............

The gps antenna is a round $30.00 . I'm out and hope we can still get them separate. Most the time you see them it will be with a new collar and rubber antenna.. I'll check tomorrow and see if my guy has gotten any back in, if you want to give me a call after lunch I should know by then.
