Performance Program / UKC / PKC

Guys, I hope someone can give me a little more information that what I currently have!!

I have been coon hunting for some years now but have nerver really gotten very excited or into the "hunts" that most of you guys are into.

After loosing my best blue dog last week to the river, I think it is time for a new start for me and my boys.

Could someone please explain to me the Performance Program in detail as well and the benifits if any of also hunting PKC with duel registration.

Thanks to everyone that helped us find some good dogs this week after the loss of Jake, gone but never forgotten at Knott Frams!!

PKC and UKC are just two different registries. UKC you hunt for a title on your dog and if it is in the performance program your wins earn you a little check at the end of the year. PKC you hunt for a title as well as a few dollars.

Neither of them pay enough to get rich but the money can help a little with gas and dog food.

Buy a pup that is performance nominated or pay your sire up as a Performance sire and then his pups will be performance.

PKC you don't need to have anything special unless you want to hunt the Superstakes and then you need a pup is that out of a PKC Superstakes sire.
