what off game looks like on a garmin

How does a fox run on a garmin? Circles?

What about a coyote?

I'd like to know too. i don't have a Garmin yet but if I did I sure would like to have a dozen collars on coons.Bucket hunters around here shoots every coon that attempts to give them a race and Southern ones climb quick like norther ones . Heck with the dog. He barks , i know where he is but I am not knowing where the coon is , whether it is going or coming. I can figure it out about fifteen minutes after the fact but it sure would be nice to see a good race on a screen in "real time" ( and I'm even an old fogy to most ).

To get back to your question. I think , from what I can understand is a coon up north hears a dog open and climbs and from that point on it is called a trail for a little bit till the dog trees . That happens here too till you can get on a "running coon" most likely won't get many till January.. Some of my bucket hunting buddies around here kill the coons that attempt to give them a chase so they never get to hear a good race. "Running" coons will circle in a big enough circle has been my findings as he gets worn down the circles will get smaller and hotter , much like a fox. I do not know about coyotes or Garmins either Cause I have asked but everybody responds to me about putting a Garmin on a coon like I am Crazy. But I realy think they don't want to know where the dog is treeing as related to where the coon is actually at. It would take most of the fun BSn out of it for too many dogs. Called a slick/circle; LOL.
