dog got hot ?

My dog got really hot one day the first part of training season. Now she pants a lot and gets winded easy. Do y'all think she will get over this or is she ruined?

I had one get over heated a few years ago and my vet told me that once a dog gets heat exhaustion they become more prone to getting it again. Turned out to be true. lost the dog the next year due to it. Turns out sometimes having no quit is not that great. Hope you have better luck with yours. Good luck.

Yes, the dog was fine when it was cold. But I'd be careful when it's warmer. Once it happens the chances of it happening again is greater and the chances of them coming out of it drops dramatically.
