An hour has passed since the first strike was originally taken. Since the dogs have ran for over an hour first strike is reopened.

..

one hour of hunting time has elapsed, all strike positions are taken, no coon treed, other dogs are out of pocket and not working as part of the cast so all strike positions become available after one hour of hunting time has elapsed....rule 7

how can a dog keep a 100 strike points for two hours and not get minused two trees scored and witch back in for 100 don't make sense but i like it, if hunt over would it be treated like time out lincoln minused or does he have one hour to catch him up

Yeah T DOG how did witch strike back in for 100

wasn't Hot Rod L holding the 100 strike? I would've thought a minus would have taken place for witch to receive 100 strike?

Easy all it takes is one dog to open to keep the 8 off them so if either that dog or one of the other dogs opens then you can't minus the dog that is holding 100 strike.

It would be treated like the end of the hunt because it is the end of regulation.

Then they have a certian amount of time to catch the dogs.

No the rule is in this thread. If a dog holds strike for an hour then that strike comes back open again. That's how it happened and no, nobody has to get minused for the strike to open back up in that situation.

rip

but if other dogs were keeping the strike open so he would not get minused while 2 dogs were using tree and shine time Then wouldn't the other dog that was keeping the strike going move up to the 100 strike if other dog was non working? Frisky was on strike while skutter was treed and witch was treed...so wouldn't frisky move to 100 and witch to 75

No, dogs don't "move up" on strike. You have to open the strike back up.

In other words, the whole hour that he has 100 strike bottled up the best the rest of the dogs can strike in for is 75. Then after that time has elapsed then the 100 is opened back up (agian you still have to follow the rule not to strike in above another dog so if somebody else has 75 then 50 is open even if it has been over an hour).
