Me and my buddy r in an disagreement he says theirs no way a dog can win the world hunt and not b grand nite and I told him that's not true now please back me up with some past winners that were not grand thx and I will send each one of u a pice of my steak lol

that hunted last night weren't all grnite.
so if hotrod lincoln wins it tonight...it don't count,since he's nitech.?!!?? lmao!!

i went back and counted real quick 10 nitech and 2 "pr" dogs were in last nights hunt. does he think they were there just for fun??

He not saying they have to be he saying theirs no way u can make it their and still be a pr dog or grand says you get two wins a night for early round and late round so u be finished by the end

in 79 mullins sugar creek rip won it he was only a nt ch.
in 80 fullers red rooster won it he was only a nt ch
in 03 lil woods scar won it he was only a nt ch.

You can win it with a PR dog but the dog would be a NtCh upon winning the World Hunt. But it would not be a NtCh until AFTER it won the World.
Here's an example. Our Kate dog qualified at an RQE by placing 8th which gave her 30 points. That was her first UKC cast. She earned 30 more at the Zones. That was her 2nd UKC hunt. Her 3rd UKC hunt was the Finals where she got beat Thursday. Had she won the World, that would have given her 40 and the first to make her NtCh. So they can win the World Hunt with no titles at all but upon winning, that would title the dog.

World Champion Janice Joplin was not Granded until 2 years after she won the World. I don't believe a PR dog has eve gone all the way.

I'm pretty sure the Plott that won in '88 was just a Nite Ch. too. Actually, back then; i would say it was possible to win the World Hunt and NOT champion out. You could qualify by being a back-up cast winner in an RQE and if you happened to catch the breaks would not earn more points until the final cast...I think.
