Not sure of Dollars full pedigree but I do know he was directly out of GR NiteCh Gold Nugget KY Lotto & Hunters' Oakwoods Little Patch.
Hope this helps & good luck with him, that's sure some good old blood.

Dollar

Hey John,
Not sure what you got, but it would have to be a grandson of dollar. Dollar has been dead for at least 16 yrs, and there wasn't any semen out of him. Maybe Sunkist is the sire to your dog

John Ole Sunkist has through some great coondogs, one of the most powerful reproducers in the English breed there ever was.Im still trying to find something that compares to my 10 year old male dog thats out of Sun but havent yet hes still putting it to 2 and 3 year old dogs. The most impressive thing to me about the Sunkist dogs is the heart they have when others quit or give up they keep going no matter the terrain there in it dont get to rough for them.SonnyXTapp breeding at its best!!!!

Oakwood's Kennel was started years ago by Mr. Jim Chaffins in northeast IN, thanks to his hunting, culling, breeding, etc many others have benefited and now you see Oakwood's dogs here and there all over the country. Most have reproduced and/or improved bloodlines for other hunter breeding program. There are several others that helped Jim when he began pooling blood from different dogs, centered around NtCh Chigger Hill Golden Sonny. I do not want to name names because I for sure would leave someone out! I will say Shane Cannon and I got into it directly through Jim, been at it nearly 20yrs now. Sunkist was just one of the few that reproduced well out of this culmination of blood. Dollar's mother was a female off GrNtCh Hardwood's Uncle Sam, Sam was directly out of old Sonny. Dollar was triple Sonny bred. Sunkist's mother was out of GrNtCh Woodstock Red Man and a half sister to GrNtCh Hardtime Rocky. Sunkist was in the top ten reproducers list and head the #1 spot on and off for years.

Here is a pic of Sunkist treed with an IN raccoon.
