replacement batteries....tri-tronics

I need to replace my batteries in my shockers. You can find "the same" batteries in generic for half the price of the brand name. Last time I did this I bought the good ones and to be honest they were junk and I am pretty lenient.

Anyone try the generic batteries in anything? Are NIHM batteries pretty much NIHM batteries??

I used a generic battery in a DC-30 collar and it worked fine. Two years old and still going strong when I sold the collar last week.

If I remember it was less than half price of the Garmin battery .
