Paul Gregg of Adrian, MO started the line of dogs we know as Stylish with Greggs' Banjo Style. He sold Wick some of his stock (Wick's Stylish Banjo), but Paul bred and raised many generations of dogs that all traced back to Banjo Style which was the foundation sire of the Stylish dogs. Paul always gave a lot of credit to Carl Colvin of Kansas for breeding of Banjo Style and he always thanked John Wick for promoting the Banjo Style line of dogs to the public.

Mr. Wick gives alot of the credit to Preacher, he said Preacher put brains and winding trait in the Stylish dogs, I see it in them today.

The first dog to be named with the prefix "Stylish" was Wicks Stylish Banjo. John owned Ozark Preacher when he was bred to my Morgan's Missy to produce Wick's Ozark Missy. He bred her to Banjo and produced Smersal's Stylish Queen owned by Chuck Smersal.

My son recently acquired a dog with Schmersal's Stylish Anna, Babes Stylish Banjo, Schmersal's Stylish Rose, Clover's Stylish Oz, and Clover's Stylish Molly in his 3rd gen. Can Anyone tell me the sire and dam to these dogs?

Babe's Stylish Banjo was sired by Sackett Jr. and out of a female that I think her name was Stylish Banjo Babe. He sired Black Creek Doc (Purina National Champion) and several other productive studs.
