Dog box ???

I'm considering getting an Owens diamond plate dog box with bottom storage. I want to hear from people who have them. Pros and cons. Does the drawer ever get stuck? If dogs are really wet or urinate in the box does it get in the drawer? Any input would be appreciated, thanks Bengie

not as heavy as a houndsman deluxe for a small truck. I have the big owens and it is lighter than the small houndsman I had

If you load the box with dogs, does the weight cause the box to sag down and interfere with the drawer to open??? My Dozer dog is 90lbs, add a couple more in there and there's a lot of weight.

I always thought about a bottom drawer too but heard there hard to open when dogs are in there and they tend to leak after awhile so i went with a seneca split top storage where they open from the sides. Nice looking box thats forsure

bottom storage

Ive had a full size owens bottom storage for about 8 or 9 yrs and havent ever had a problem with the draw opening with 4 full grown dogs in it. But have had problems with water getting inside the drawer. No sagging as far as i can tell. 1 person can load and unload it.

I was gonna buy one with bottoms storage, but heard that water or pee would get in the bottom storage. That sounded like a mess to me, so I bought a unique with no storage! Couldn't be happier, considering my 12 yr old and I load it (if my husband isn't home) and its light
