Tie Breaking Rules

I just do not think the first tie breaking rule should be least amount of minus. The object of the sport is treeing coons. So, should the first tie breaking rule be most first trees or most plus tree points.

As, you can tell I got beat a couple of weekends ago by the tiebreaking rules. Everyone in the cast except me thought that I had won because my dog had treed the coons. I had that extra minus and lost because I had more minus.

Minus points are the result of a mistake made...

I dont have a big problem rewarding the dog that made the least mistakes.

Having said that, I sympathise with you...lol

I also got beat out of a ntch win because of the tie breaking rules. We came in with 400+, I figured I was in good shape, as I had no minus......Neither did the other guy.

It came down to who had the most circle pts......

Whoever said life isnt fair, MUST have been a coonhunter.....
