Hello Everyone –

I’m Lisa, John Wick’s secretary, and he asked me to post this info. On December 21, John found Babe’s Stylish Banjo dead in his doghouse. Prior to that, Babe appeared to be in tip-top health, and it’s a mystery what happened. But he was 11 years old, so while it was a surprise, it can’t be totally unexpected. He died peacefully and was curled up and appeared to be asleep when John found him. John is sad about this but is happy for the privilege of knowing The Babe. He also wants to send hearty good wishes to everyone enjoying descendents of this fine hound. He and thousands of other folks will be enjoying them for many years to come.

sorry to hear of this i owned a young impressive hound out of him awhile back before i started huntin just blackandtans he was a good young hound again sorry to hear of the loss of a good hound

I am sorry about your loss... I never hunted with a Babe's descendant but read alot about them and heard so much about Babe and his offspring. I hope you will be able to have another GREAT one again..

Sorry to hear of the loss, I have hunted with one of his desendants GR CH GR NITE CH "PR" BLACK CREEK DOC who has won Purinia's Outstanding UKC Coonhound 2001, UKC Triple Crown Winner 2002, has placed twice in the world hunt and is 2005 High Scoring Male. Anyone looking to carry on the "Banjo"
bloodline might should give "Doc" a call.
