best burn time? on caplights.

Who makes a good caplight with long burntime? I think some of these guys are full of it when they tell you how long these lights will burn. Been left standing in the dark 3 times now and its not fun. If you hunt 5 or 6 hours and shine a half dozen trees, your in trouble and these LEDS. give you no warning that they are getting low, they just QUIT.

Jr.

Call me or Bobby or send us your light. It should burn 7 hours on high. Call and maybe we can figure it out over the phone.

I had two short hunts and the third night my laser torch pro left me in the dark with no warning. I almost threw it in the creek. I charge it fully after every little hunt and carry a little emergency light in my pocket.

I have the laser torch pro also and it has never given me any problems. If I needed a new light next week I would without a doubt pickup the phone and have a new torch pro on the way.

laser torch is not full of it when it comes to burn times. I hunt a good bit and never seen it just go dead. i would say that the burn time on high is 5 to 8 solid hrs. i dont know how much more you want than that. i have not used a lite in 30 yrs you didn't have to charge at some point. you can easily hunt a full week on the laser torch

When you use the Boss Cats Eye for walking the brun time on that is going to be one of the longest. Some of these brun times that you see on low are just for the low low which is not useful for walking. Look more at the brun times one click down from high.

I have not seen any from a reputable dealer that the burn times are not correct.

Most dont pay attention to how long they are burning them on high and medium. Then you have a dead light. For the Sunspot I tell everyone to use it like you would a belt light with a 5100 head. You would not have run it on high a bunch and expect to hunt 5 nights on it. Use your charger, thats why it comes with the light.

I dont care who makes the light, if it uses lithium ion batteries and you keep pushing it. Its going to leave you in the dark one night.

Tyler your right about some of them but not all of them. The Sunfire has a 140 hour burn time on the first click and it is the position I use to walk with.

The laser torch pro has to be a good light, always loved the cajuns. They are alot of people building good dependable lights now but I drew two guys that both were using the laser torch pro, after finding their 2 coon and my 3 with my Boss 24v 7 led head it left them really liking the Boss.As far as burn times Im really satified with it.

First of all I don't know crap about any of the new lights.

But this I know for sure, the fellea from Sunspot lights has helped me trouble shoot my light, has been a pleaser to talk to and seems to be an honest man that stands behind hsi product and most of all took the time to talk to me even on a sunday.

I am personally a big fan of the tight spot light beams, not a big fan of the cap light. The way I hunt and where I hunt I feel they arn't a good fit. I may have Sunspot working on a light for me, it isn't the average lgiht that he sells, but it is what I want and am looking for in a light.

Personally I am not a big fan of the cap lights, my head has taken a beaten ove the yrs and my neck isn't hwat it use to be. Love a flood style light.

But this I now to be true, Sunspot ligth servce is hard to beat. The man stands behind his product and every time I talk to him I hang up a little smarter than I was be fore I called. That is not always the case, most of the time I am dumber, and I am a dummy.

You guys can take that for what its worth since I am a no body with not a new fancy light jsut an old school heavy belt pack light and one of the first led heads to come out. I has served me well and the next light I get will be from sunspot.
