Is proformanc program worth it?

I'm gonna have a littler of pups but it seems it'll cost about 200$ to do everything I need to get them in the proformance program. Is it worth it or is the super stakes program worth it? Or should I just not fool with it? Just looking for others opinions. Thanks

If your looking to sell most of them I would. There's so many available that are performance and SS i don't imagine people would bite on pups that aren't unless they really know the cross and want one regardless. JMO

Is it worth it? No not really but if you want them to get in the hands of people that will do them right then they need to be.

Everyone wants S.S or perf, but how many people actually go to the S.S hunt, how much you get back for perf ??? Just another way for the KC to make more $$$$$$
If you breed coon hound to coon hound the pups will sale regardless

I don't see where it would cost the breeder anything you just divide the cost up per pup and tack it on . because most will pay more for a pup that is , so if they choose they can participate in the programs . win , win .

When I buy a dog it must be super stakes but after this year performance check I could care less about that. UKC raised the price a few years ago and when I ask them they said the points were going to pay more. Well they lied cause it declined. In 2008 I won a first on a dog with 8 dogs entered and got a $300 check. Won 2 first this year with 8 dogs at both and got $145
