sores:

Supply the hounds with good bedding material: straw, cedar ect.
Clean them with water and antibactal soap and apply Cut and Heal spray on them. You can buy it at coop of tractors supply places it is for horses and cattle. It is purple.

beside the good bedding build a wood platform for them to lie on when out of the box
if it's just on there legs it may be an allergy to plant material where your hunting them usualy irritates there legs and underside of the belly

They may be "pee burns" from where they have been laying in puppy pee. You can use bag balm on them. Bag balm can be bought cheaply at any farm supply store.

Sounds like pressure sores. Keep them on clean, dry bedding. Try peeling the scabby material off the sore and make sure there is no sign of infection. Treat with an anti-bacterial spray powder.

I GO WITH REDTICK ON THIS ONE. THE AMMONIA IN THEIR PEE WILL BURN. PUT BAG BALM ON THERE SORES. BAG BALM IS GOOD FOR MANY THINGS.
