Which Walker sire was the most overlooked?

Which sire shows up in alot of pedigrees, although he was overlooked and doesn't get the credit he deserves for being an above average sire of coondogs. I personally think Bozo. Stylish Coma was double Bozo, all your Clover bred dogs will show Bozo. JMO What is yours?

I Vote Other

Because the 4 that were named most certainly were not onerlooked. Any dog that's put 100's of pups on the ground is not overlooked. The overlooked ones likely have not been advertised or promoted, and are likely unknown outside of their local territory.

I have what I consider an overlooked stud. I am not talking about dogs that were not bred much. I am talking about dogs that are not given credit for their offspring or grand pups. I see where people say they like the Sackett Jr. blood but never really cared for Boone Blood. Well Sackett Jr. is a grandpup to Boone. I hear people talk about Coma blood being what they like. Well Flatrock Coma had one shot of Bozo and Stylish Coma has a double shot of Bozo. Again I have a male that is all coondog and won all his hunts on his own. He has sired two really nice litters that went to pleasure hunters because he doesn't have an all grand or even titled out pedigree. The owners love them. I am talking about dogs we recognize but are not given credit for their contribution anymore.

boone through some nice dogs obviously but you cant even classify him and Sackett Jr in the same group. Sackett blows him out of the water and was a freak of nature in the stud pen

I wasn't putting them in the same class. But Sackett Jr. is a grandpup of Boone. So you have to think, if Boone was a good reproducer in his own right, how much did he get overlooked as being Sackett Jr.s grandpa. All the dogs in his pedigree contributed to his awesome reproducing skills. I still contribute most of a studs notoriaty to the females he was bred to. Without a good reproducing female there wouldn't be good reproducing males. JMO

In my opinion Gr.Nite Ch. Mac`s Screaming Lawyer!
We called him "Bugle", or Big "B",HE WAS A COONDOG,and if he would of been bred to as many females as some, he would of made a real impact! I can think of several dogs out of him that made real "coondogs"!I had 1 that I kept till he died, and my hunting buddies son had a littermate to Lawman that he kept till she died! These were peoples once in a lifetime dogs!
