Sounds like west Tennessee is right in line with us. The bad thing is ours are gonna be in the briar thickets where the berries are right off the bat!

I have read many studies on the life cycle of coons. Their gestation period is the same as dogs--63 days or so. In my area, the coon rutt starts in late December or early January. The rutting continues to Feb and maybe March. If the sows don't get bred during that time, they will come in later. So, you could have kittens in your area at various times. Like puppies, they don't stray far from their den for 4 or 5 weeks. The older the further.
Usually, by August, the majority will be active.
