Good stuff and usually very sellable colts. Pretty easy to break and have ALOT of cow sense.

Lena horses are very smart like to learn and show. Reigning or cutting From what i've seen. been on a couple impressive horses very few were what i liked broke one that if rode hard would start to shake. weirdest thing i ever saw. very nice looking horses though.

I agree with StrawberryMT. All the ones I've encountered have been very sensible, handy, and generally pretty cow-y. These days there a TON of working bred horses out there that carry that bloodline (in particular cow horses), but the gentleman that taught me most of what I know about horses always gave me this advice...these days, if you buy a horse bred to be a halter horse, you'll get a halter horse. A pleasure bred horse, you've got a good chance of making him a decent pleasure horse. So on and so forth. But what I really like about horses out of these older lines is that you can really USE them...work cows on them, rope off them, trail ride on them, they are just love having a job.

Good luck with your new horse! I was involved with Quarter Horses from the time I was a very young child and throughout college. Haven't ridden since I put my Hancock bred mare down at the age of 30 in 08, but I'm wanting very much so to get back into it now. I don't think real horse folks can stay away too long!

San Peppy is a nice line as well...in my experience not as quick on the feet and a lil more laid back...but nice all the same.
