Can you tell the Difference

Has any one figured out a way to tell the difference between a boar and sow coon when their in the tree? Might be a stupid question but i was just curious and wanted to ask

This is by no means a for sure thing, but most of the time, around here, if the coon is high in the tree, its a boar. If its low, or in one of the first two or 3 crotches, its a sow. Like I said, by no means a sure fire thing, just what we have found. Kind of gives you an idea.

you are right e and my buddy treed a double last week of season they was real close to each other smallest had his nose in the others butt they went up in the tree higher told my buddy shot the smaller 1 he said no the big 1 is the boar he shot it out was a big ole sow man he hated it said should listen to me i told him when you tree a double you just hope you gussed right

sorry iam going be stupid the boar is the one with a pack of ciggs rolled up in his sleeve,,sorry i have herd that same but to be honest we have shot sows out 30 feet in the top
