new skeet update
well, i have moved again as some may know. i feel bad for the boys they always have to readjust all of a sudden. but, this is a really nice place with good ju ju bees, lol.
anyways, i thought i had a problem with skeet lookin on deer too much. we have deer cross through the yard and into the woods all the time.
i took him for a walk the other night and that dog didnt even give a second look at the deer runs i intentionally walked him over. i loved it. got my grin on.
but, i am bruised up cause this dog took a trail from the pond of my neighbors right to a big ole ash tree. coon poop on the downed poplar by it. when he gets on a trail, there is no lead to hold him. smiled even bigger.
he isnt 2 yet, but i still have extremely high hopes for him.
worked him down at my friends the other evening. all i can say is this boy has a nose. he always means business when that nose goes to the ground (or in the wind). yeah john sisley, this boy still has that nose.
still have a problem with the ears though. yeast infections. but that doesnt stop his voice. loud as usual and is opening on trail like no tomorrow.
sometimes like i read in the books, you have to let them mature a little.
i am grinning ear to ear after 2 moves in 6 months and this dog still has it and is not being a butt head.
everyone that meets him cant believe he is a coonhound cause he has the disposition of a lap dog. but then,,,,,,,,,,, we turn him loose. i love the look on some people's faces when they hear him and see him treed. i love it. momma with pride is what it is.
gonna finish him off on his grand show soon. i was told to let him mature a little and i have. best advice. we are gonna be unstoppable.
skeet at his new house
