Dogbox vents? ideas?

I built myself a box and I'm not sure what to do about vents. Would vents in the back be better so there is cross ventilation? I really don't want to just drill holes. Do you guys have any ideas of some vents that I might be able to use? Here is a picture of the box.

get some floor vent covers from a hardware store and use them not very big but you can close them in the winter to keep the cold out

Do you think the vents would be better on the sides or the back?
