I still live in the same house I was raised in 50 years ago and for the first time that I can ever remember, we don't have a hound on the place. Kate is at Nevergone, some fellas from Ky wanted my two pups more than I did and so I am plumb dogless today. My hunting partner Adrian is houndless too. We hunted the last 3 nights with a borrowed neighborhood meat dog that got hunted maybe 5 times in the last year. Treed 7 on the outside, one slick and one den and stayed out just long enough to be able to say we went coon hunt'in.
Got a pup on the way off Janice Joplins sire and her mothers sister, they prolly call her Grace Slick. She should give us something to do for the summer.
