Coonhunters Lawnmowers

Name the type I have had them all. Finally after I wore out the old rear engine snapper I bought the zero turn. Its the best thing to come along since sliced bread. Warning though. I live in the hill country and my lawn is steep in places. I was cutting along the edge of the yard not long after I got the zero turn and got to close to the steep woodline and lost total control. After a few 360dees down through the woods a came to a stand still. After looking around to see if the wife or kids had seen the incident I couldn't help but laugh. No one saw me. Lol. I had to winch it out of the holler with the truck. So if you buy one or allready have one be careful on the inclines. Lol

I wouldn't trade my zero turn for anything. Got 4 acres to mow and a lot of trees. Used to take me 4 hours on a john deere 425 with a 60 inch deck. Now I have a husqvarna zero turn with a 54 inch deck and it takes me less that 2 hours. Just have to know your boundaries when your operating it. I bought a cheap push mower to mow the ditch out by the road

When anyone says zero turn 2 words come to mind... Dixie Chopper!! The absolute best zero turn hands down! Not to mention they are made in Indiana.

and you all need to weld/bolt a bracket to hook your chain to as the one the neighbor has only has a place in the back and its not fun trying to pull one out when you cant get hooked up to something that might not rip apart when you hit the end of the chain..

theirs gets hung up and spins out in standing water areas when the dirt hasnt had time to dry out...
