Opinions....

I have a 6 month old English pup that im trying to train but i have a couple questions... Right now I have her tracking a coon hide through the woods and finding the tree its in and shes doing great at finding it. my only issue is shes silent the whole way through. How can I encourage her to open up on track and tree? Also whats a good age to show a live caged coon?

Most dogs will not open on a drag. I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't over do the drag thing. If you hang it so she can see it it will encourage her to start tree jacking. JMO

pup

yes i have hung it so she can see it and she is doing great. I only do it once a week just training her nose for coon and praising her when she trees the hide. what agr is good to show her a live coon I her different from everyone but its so hard to wait until shes 10 months or a year old lol.
