Ga HTX hunt.

We are having one. Dawsonville Ga. 3-9-12... We got a permit to hunt the local wma. 28,000 ac. Plenty of wide open safe land. Maybe we will have a good turnout.

I wonder how many of those famous 2,000 point competition winning dogs from up north would handle a WMA around here like Paulding forrest or Dawson forrest ? Would they go get the job done or would they get 200 yards away and come back looking confused ?

Not much word on anyone coming! Everbody talks about how grand these HTX are. I guess we will know next week if they practice what they preach! Im hoping they do.. Another thing. I dont get bloodlines. Are these tests not listed there and just on the net?

Yes, we run an Upcoming Events listing in the HTX column in CB also. Good luck to all !

I'd be there if I didn't have to work tomorrow Michael. I asked and got tomorrow off and then this morning the boss took it back.

Although. I think they should cut some slack on the deadline time on one of these. Its different. Ain't like your competing against everybody or would have to re draw. Within reason they outta make it so we could allow somebody to be a little late. Specially the ones driving a long way. Would suck to drive 3 hours. Be 3 min late and not get to hunt by yourself. LoL
