CS-6 5 watt led

5 watt does not sound like alot I know the differance between led and the other lights so I guess my ? is how does the 5 watt stack up against like a 21 volt light

I bought one last fall and have been more than satisfied with it. I can't give you a comparison to a 21v light but they are pretty comparible to the "preditor" lights that my hunting friends have. As far as pros and cons go, mine is old style battery on the belt and cord up the back to the head so you still have those inconveniences to deal with. I know that you can get one where the battery and head are mounted on a bump cap though. The charger is a little strange and I don't know how durable it is going to be, although it seldom gets used. I've only charged mine twice and I'm not sure it needed it the second time, just being cautious. It is so compact and light that anyone from the smallest child on up can wear one. In fact I would bet that the belt and hard hat I have mine mounted on doubles the weight. Now if I were going to seriously push a dog in the hunts I would probably look for a light that you could add a spot light to, but for the majority of the time this one is bright enough.
I paid sbout 75-80 plus shipping for mine so even if you end up not liking it you can always stick it in your glove box for a "just in case" light and not be out a whole lot. If you're looking at getting one for kids to use I don't think you could do any better with anything else, and certainly not for the money they cost.
Hope this answers at least some of your questions.

3 of us hunted the other night.2 were using the Crystal lights.Made 11 trees and found 10 of the 11 coon.8 of the 10 were found with the Crystal lights. They are a tight beam and MORE than bright enough.I hunt at least 5 nights a week and put it on the car charger about once a week for an hour or so.My brother and I both love ours.

FEEDBACK

My buddy dropped his light off of the four wheeler in November last year. Well he found it the other day and after being buried in the rain/snow/mud for 4 months he picked it up and clicked the button. It fired right up and worked like a champ!
