how to mark dog on a garmin?

I just got a 320 and if I scroll over to the dog symbol and if I push the mark button it marks where I am at. if I scroll over to the dog and push the enter button it brings up the dog menu, anyone want to gie me the heads up on how to mark a dogs spot , say while they are treeing? cant seem to figure it out.

Couple of ways

You can run the cursor to the spot you want marked and then hit enter. Then you have two choices.
Select GO and it will drop a PIN on the map and put a solid blue line to the PIN to the spot you marked. I don't like all these blue lines so I do this.
Run the cursor to the spot to mark and hit enter. Instead of selecting GO hit enter menu and it will ask if you want to save as waypoint. Hit enter and its done.
