Armadillo for sale or lease?

Armadillo (nick name little dillo) Can any of you southern boys help this yankee out? If we are lucky enough to get to the final, I don't want to drive 17 hours and get scratched. Maybe I can do like TURTLE MAN get one and rub it all over me so the scent is all on me then when I feed my dogs I can give them a little whooping. Hey maybe these northern gal would like a little dillo. yiyiyiyiyiyiyi LIVE ACTION.

while i think the intent you have is a good one, i don't believe i would introduce a hound to them, good or bad in the hounds eyes. Its one of those forbidden fruit type things with me. It is extremely hard to break a dog from running dillos if they get started, and some you never break. I'd take my chances on getting scratched, which are slim if they have never seen them before.

You gona think yiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi

Just be patient you gona get a tast of them things THEN you gona realy say yiyiyiyiyiy just like Robert said most of the time you don't stop dogs from running them dillas. W elcome S outh B rother , got them by the dozens around here. And by the way take a few up north they put another meaning in trash running and when you get to the finals they got plenty of them also. We got so many around here thought about getting me nothing but a dilla dog, they dont run too far a dog usuly gives plenty of mouth before they den up and a dog gona stay. yiyiyiyyi DILLA TIME yiyiyiyi.

Dan Dogs

You remember I shot that last opposum at your RQE a few years ago and none migrated south yet. I am not fast enough to catch or run down that turtle anymore. If you could do me a favor and catch some cridder for me I have an old Wisconsin football helmet that I could duck tape to it. I am sure I would be able to out run it than. Footballs over lets talk BASKETBALL. How did the HAWKS and the BADGERS do this year. Like the CUBS, there's always next year.

I too have been asking them southern folk with dillers to send me one here in PA. Not to get my dogs use to it or anything, but to have fun with.

This is my plan, have some nice southerner UPS or FEDX me a diller, which most likely won't survive the trip up, all's the better for wonderful plan. Take said diller to heavily traveled intersection up the road a piece, still in the sticks in the middle of no where. Lay it in the middle of the crossroads. Sit and watch as Amish pass by and try to figure out what said 'animal' is, maybe have a news crew called for 'new discovery' in Crossgrove Hall! I still haven't found anyone willing to ship me one. Been asking for like, 10 years now!

Wendell,
55 gallon drum and shock collar, and dillo will slow them up for a while, but believe me when i say, once a hound starts on these things, it is next to impossible to fully 100% break them. Some you can, but 90% will always take an oppurtunity if it arises.

I thought the same thing about the dillers,,since we don't have any..Another thing thats crossed my mind is wild hogs..Be bad to make that trip south ,,to hear your hound chase porkers for 2 hours. I may have to make a weekend trip south with the old trusty Tri Tronics on full charge.

Sorta like

"You gota own one to like one". OK here is the secret !!!!!!! once a dog fools with one he gets so excited because the DILLA most all the time makes a little destinct noise as he runs through the woods therefore he leaves a trail and the dogs hear the sound. next they are almost impossible for a dog to kill them they have LONG toenails and can dig in anywhere IF they hole up YOU can't pull them out and the dogs dig because they can scratch on the shell and never hurt them as the dog digs the dilla just goes a little deeper.
Poor explination but the best I can do now did not get much sleep last night was 2:00 before i got in.
GET YOU A DILLA and the fun begins!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I have heard horrow stories about them p/p up north also.

I walked in to mine one night when she was a young hound. Had a diller in a hole and a dead possum laying to next to the hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You better believe I broke her right then and there on dillers. Never has messed with another. As far as possums go. She treed one on the very next turnout. She didnt like the results of that little screw up either.
