I have his littermate awesome young dog placed 3rd at the ga state BBOA hunt and has two HTX passes under his belt with two tries should have had a 1st also but i messed that up good luck with your pup.

Didn't spend much time with him the way one should but I know from passed young hounds I've had they can really turn on quick when they reach the right age. I know this from the passed as I used to only hunt fall and kill season. My pups some would call them late starters but they learn so much quicker! Sounds like you have a nice one! Bryan Whitted has bought a litter mate to our pups. Good Luck with yours!

I having a hard time breaking Chief off deer. I shock him and he quits and comes to me. Should I switch him to. Whats your input on this.

im having the same problem with my clean pup. he wants to kill everything. his name it poacher and its fitting. tonight is his first "no deer session." my plan is to just keep him on lots of coon and drive the backroads in evening turning him on deer with the e collar. good luck

Just keep what your doing eventually he will stop don't just bump him with it when he runs one lay the juice to him for a few seconds and I wouldn't switch him for a that atleast he will come to you and tell on himself

Call me and go see the guy from Ohio he is in defiance and he will break him and he will do it and won't schlock him ,hurt him and you won't see any difference in the dog and you won't believe how cheap it is guaranteed!!! I know a lot of people that have used him and all but one were broke and the one it sure helped him tremendously!!! 571-233-5819 call me I will give you the deal on him also did you ever breed that female that we talked about last year I think you were crossing her on the chief dog?

Being retired has its draw backs i just can't afford to pay someone to break him. I will stay on him RHK. Thanks POTOMAC for your info, I didn't make the half mate cross on Chief because the female didn't pan out, I gave her to a friend. This Chief pup can really smoke a coon track and I think he can almost catch a deer. He looks like a big deer when he clears a fence without touching it. I trained him to jump on the UP command.

Change locations dont know if it will help ,but after i burn mine its like it resets him next drop takes off like a bullet and i know about jumping fences .I have a top on his cause if you leave him at home he will get out of a six foot kennel then jump a four foot fence like its not there and he will be treed somewhere...MOST ACCURITE YOUNG DOG IVE EVER OWNED.
