MN coonhunter passes

Scott Ziemke passed away on Monday. He was a long time member of the Crane Creek Club here in the Owatonna area. Scott enjoyed swapping stories at meetings & hunts as well as taking his stepson to the youth hunts.

Here is a picture of Scott and Ridge winning one of our hunts a couple years ago.

Scott was a hellava nice guy. Always cracking jokes. One of those guys who was always ready to do whatever it took to make our hunts work even though he wasn't a hard core comp. hunter The bad part is he was only 52 years old. It makes you stop and think about your life and what you have left to accomplish and what things you need to make amends for. Today is a good time to start!

Well said Doug. Scott was always someone you could count on to help out. Scott made and donated all of our benches, one you can see in the picture.
