Been with a direct son of him several times. He is still alive. Could have been Grand easy, but he never seen a nite hunt. He is a get DEEP, tight mouthed, have a coon by his self type dog.

SAVAGE WAS A HARD HUNTINGDOG WAS AVERY GOOD STRIKE DOG . VERY FAST ON TRACK AND QUICK TO LOCATE BUT WAS ACCURATE HIS VOICE WAS LOUD!!!!! AND WOULD GET BY HIMSEF OR TREE WITH OTHER DOGS OR SHOULD SAY OTHER DOGS WOULD COME GET TREED WITH HIM. WAS ONE OF THE BETTER HOUNDS I HAVE HUNTED WITH.
