Hard cider???

I'm hoping someone will have the answer as to maybe what I drank. Or how someone would have made it. Last year while in ky seeing a coon hunting friend we went to a guys house that had what tasted just like apple cider( amazing tasting) in a mason jar but was so potent that drinking more than a 1/2 of a little kids cup and you would be slobbering drunk. Does anyone know what people call it ( guess hard cider) and how it is was made.
Feel free to pm as well.
Thanks
Coonsmen

2nd dat! we can either order it or go to Walhalla and get the apples and juice and finish it off ourselves. Good stuff. Gives Rabiteye Blueberry Hoe cakes a run for the money.

The ratio is whatever taste good to you., I make it myself for my taste. And If I were you I would too. Starting from scratch. There are some idiots that put cowturd mushrooms in a Ball Jar , that don't make it right. It turned me into a liberal democrat for years till I recovered. I wouldn't trust just anybodys..

It could've been applejack. Hard cider freeze distilled to take all the water out of it. It'll make ya kiss your sister.

When we make apple pie, we put a gallon of apple juice, a gallon of apple cider, 4 cinnamon sticks and 4 cups (I use 3 cups) of sugar into a big pot. Boil it up good so the sugar dissolves, then let it cool a little bit and add a bottle of everclear. I think the bottle it 750mL, but not positive. Then we put it in jugs. Not sure if that's how everyone else does it, but that's the recipe up in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
